Andy Goldsworthy is a British artist who uses materials found in the nature, such as leaves, sand, ice, and stone. Using nature as his medium, his works are often ephemeral and are left to decay and disappeared back to the nature. The book reflects the two main ideas of artist decay and growth.

The shapes of the form is based on the leaf, and the particles forming and deforming the texts represent the natural cicle of the nature (born and death). It also represent the idea of CHANGE and DECAY, which are the main ideas that Goldsworthy represent in his work.
